Refund
Rented for 1 month. Second month, I didn't notify fast enough. So they charged for the full month. Thinking I would at least get partial refund. Was told 10 day notice required. I was out in 3 days. Picture taken like requested. Received NO REFUND. would NOT recommend this storage unit company. Very disappointed.

Manager's Response

Correct Jackie. As you admitted in your review, you did not notify us in time for a move out. You signed a contract stating you will give 10 days notice before the next billing month for a move out or you would be billed for the next month. You failed to do that even though you were well aware that you would be billed. We require the notice so that we can put the unit back on the market and try to re-rent it so that we limit the amount of vacancy. We prorate at move in, but not at move out which is why we informed you that we would try to re-rent the unit and then issue you a prorated refund if we were successful in doing so. That is fair. Unfortunately, we were not able to re-rent the unit in time. Your failure to follow instructions and follow through on your commitment of a signed contract is not justification for a one star review. We did our part, you did not.
Very responsive
I called to get a unit. The gentleman was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The staff member was very pleasant, approachable, and accommodating. I was able to complete my paperwork online, which was a straightforward process.
