Public Storage - Salt Lake City - 1545 E 3900 South Street

It is a standard storage facility. they had 2 buildings to store for smaller units that were both on the 2nd floor. the firs building had wooden doors that were the same size as a house entrance which is awkward to bring house items through. Lots of trash was found throughout this building. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The 2nd building had roll up doors that were easier to go in with furniture. This felt more secure and clean rather than the trashier building. the elevators to the 2nd floor of both buildings are a little short in height which I thought was short of thought being furniture and large items are normally kept in storage units. Also before each elevator there is a 3 inch curb that you have to go over before entering the elevator. I can see how this would be helpful with rain etc. however a small ramp easily made with a small amount of concrete would be very helpful so that when you are using different types of carts you do not have to unload, reload, unload and reload when using a 2nd floor unit can be a task on its own.

Very good experience..have used this facility before. Helpful 800 phone staff..immediate follow up by property manager. Fair pricing. Excellent onsite personnel. Booked an upper unit..freight elevator too small & isnt appropriate for people..so it slows to move time...otherwise very good experience.
